He now works at Apopka as the family pastor taking the responsible of connecting families with God, each other, others and church. His passion is to see this type of connection to exist in every facet of the church life. He also believes that in order for this to exist we must allow "Christ to increase and the self decrease".
He really enjoys to stay active wether it be through running, swimming, cycling, playing soccer, hiking, backpacking, or playing together with his family. He enjoys traveling and whenever there is some down time reading a good book.
The Apopka SDA Church was organized on January 7, 1956 with 57 members. The church was moved a couple times before building a facility on South Highland Avenue in the early 1960's. The church grew to 850 members and needed a new expanded facility. Phase 1 which include a social hall, offices, and classroom facilities was constructed. Phase two will include a sanctuary and additional classrooms. On Sabbath, April 5 2003, the church first worshiped in their current facility on Votaw Road.
To extend the ministry of Christ to our community with hope and wholeness.
Living for others, that others may live.
